Kevin M. Clyne, Partner
With more than 10 years of experience HKCC Partner Kevin M. Clyne has achieved a distinctive track record successfully prosecuting the valuation of diverse types of commercial and retail properties, including: office, industrial, and warehouse buildings; hotels, motels, and resorts; regional shopping centers and department stores; golf courses; restaurants; and more. During his 12 years at the bar Kevin has developed a reputation as a vigilant advocate for his client's interests throughout upstate New York and Long Island.
Kevin's specialized knowledge includes: condemnation, the valuation of contaminated property, and unconstitutional garbage/solid waste assessments. He has handled these matters on every level from negotiation and compromise with municipal authorities to trial and through the appellate process.
He is a member of the Tax Certiorari and Condemnation Committees of the Nassau County Bar Association, the Suffolk County Bar Association, the Westchester County Bar Association, and the Bar Association of the City of New York. He also is a member of the Long Island Builder's Institute (LIBI), the Long Island Real Estate Group (LIREG), and Action Long Island (ALI) - where he co-chaired the ALI Housing Task Force. Kevin served as a board member of the New York Condemnation Conference and lectured on property tax law at Hofstra University School of Law. His charitable initiatives include serving on the Golf Committee for the Hagedorn Little Village School in Seaford and actively advancing the cause of supported employment for individuals with disabilities for Adults and Children with Learning and Developmental Disabilities (ACLD) in Bethpage.
Kevin is a 1999 graduate of Hofstra University School of Law, where he was a member of the Law Review, and a 1996 cum laude graduate of Loyola College of Maryland.
